Paradox has announced he will release promodlive V2 tonight, this is basically promodlive tweaked for reg and classes.
Its assumed that all 3 summer lans will pick up this new mod as the pro community is behind it.
Before few weeks trivve's crew released promod4.42, it was basicly promodlive with few changes and with many bugfixes and usefull additions. Everyone flamed this mod because they were playing on probably best mod (PromodLIVE) so far. But with upcoming positive comments from all sides, i tried that mod too. Game was smoother then on live, no gameplay changes, only great additions for players - classbinds, fps boost, removable scoreboard on left bottom, few hud/menu tweaks and many more. Tonight, this mod will be released with few changes (like sunlight "1.2" again etc) as PromodLIVE v2 and i would like to prevent before stupid comments like "shit mod" "dont make any other mod please" "fuck off with new mod, promodlive is the best". Here you will see the list of changes from "your best mod ever - promodlive". Yes, it was best mod .. it WAS, but the mod was made in few hours and some planned additions were not implemented cos of lack of time.
THERE IS NO RADICAL GAMEPLAY CHANGE (like hitboxes etc), YOU WILL PLAY SAME MOD, SAME GAME ... ONLY WITH SOME USEFULL ADDITIONS AND BUGFIXES.

Enhanced code
Now even smaller and smoother than before (up to 10% smaller in size than Live v1). With parts of the system rewamped to run even better. Some experience both better FPS and better general hitreg.
- All stock maps have now Marines (Attack) attacking and Opfor (Defence) defending.
- Damage display during ready-up mode and strat mode shows explosive damages.
- Scorebot added and has been widely improved, also added captures and other events from all gametypes.
- Bottom-left scorebar is now removable in multiplayer options menu.
- Fovscale is 1.125 by default.
- Normalmap is flat by default.
- All Defense phrases are changed to Defence. There is no grammar mistake though.
- Smaller fixes at the shoutcaster section.
- Small changes/improvments to the hud and menus.
- Players left display is moved to the hud and therefore possible to get rid of for those nice-looking frag-movies.
- Extended gametype support: Includes full Hardcore support, aswell as SAB, KOTH and DOM gametypes. In other words; Promod can now be played by everyone!
- PromodLIVE v2 works on mp_killhouse.
- Mgfix and pigeon fix implemented (no iwd errors).
- Fixed red enemy crosshair in smoke.
- Reworked Shoutcaster overlay: Faster and better. Now with support for all resolutions and aspect ratios, including widescreen.
- Enhanced client- and server-security.
Classbinds
- Preserved Class Loadouts:Your preferences in weapons, camo and attachments are now saved and will automatically loaded time after time (until changed). This doesn't only make the match setup faster but also very convenient for the players switching class mid-game. This together with the Class related binds function it even faster!
- Class related binds: Classes can now be bound to keys for faster mid-game class switches. Together with the Preserved Class loadouts function you get even faster and more accurate!
Can be done manually in config or through game menu.
